Keynote
Address by Luis Gallardo
Luis Gallardo shared his experience of promoting happiness in communities across the globe.
He also shared the excerpts from his book “Happytalism” and emphasized the transformative power of happiness, love, forgiveness, and other aspects of positive psychology, focusing on techniques that can shift thoughts and emotions from negativity to happiness.
Pehla Sukh Nirogi Kaya
Mr. Naren Bakshi, Chairman of CWC Global and its India Chapter, delivered an inspiring address from California, where he shared his vision for blending Eastern wisdom with Western scientific advancements to revolutionize healthcare and well-being.
Welcome Address
Dr. Raakhi Gupta, Registrar, IIS (deemed to be) University delivered the Welcome address highlighting India’s deep cultural roots in promoting happiness, from ancient Sanskrit teachings to the modern constitution’s emphasis on well-being
Lessons from Bhagvad Geeta on Happiness
Sister BK Usha drew from the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to convey profound wisdom on cultivating lasting happiness. She explained that true happiness stems from understanding and embracing our intrinsic nature—love, peace, and joy. She emphasized the importance of overcoming ego, anger, and stress to achieve harmony within ourselves and with others.
The Art of Happiness
Swami Atmananda stressed that happiness is not a fleeting emotion but a state of being that can be cultivated through inner peace and contentment. The session established a
strong connection between breathing practices and emotional well-being, supported by a guided meditation and breathing exercises. He also shared 5 Wisdom Keys taught by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to maintain a happy state of mind.
Laughter leads to happiness
Dr. Madan Kataria demonstrated how laughter is a powerful tool for reducing stress, boosting the immune system, and releasing endorphins, contributing to overall happiness. The session included references to scientific studies supporting the numerous benefits of laughter, solidifying its role in promoting well-being. Participants were thrilled to experience Laughter Yoga exercises.
Integrating Happiness in the Education system
Dr. Saamdu Chetri shared insights on how Gross National Happiness (GNH) can be integrated into education systems to promote well-being and sustainability.
The session highlighted the synergy between the concept of GNH and holistic education approaches, advocating for the role of education in fostering both happiness and environmental sustainability.
Happiness: A new Field of Study
Dr. Tal Ben Shahar sent his best wishes through a video along with his pre recorded talk on the topic. In his talk, he highlighted the absence of a formal academic discipline for
happiness and the need for a clear, informed vision of happiness. He emphasized that despite increased efforts, many are pursuing happiness in the wrong direction, leading to declining well-being.
Vote of Thanks
W.g Cdr V.K.Kala, (Veteran), MD, My CWC India Foundation, dellvered the Vote of Thanks and summed up the Forum with Key Takeaways. In his address, he appreciated the contributions by all the speakers and also thanked the audience, the organising team, the Supporting organisations and the sponsors. The Program concluded with a Happiness anthem.

The forum also witnessed the launch of the book “Secrets of Happy Healthy Long Life by K. Vikram Rastogi, the Forum Convenor and Senior Advisor, My Crack the Wellness Code Foundation.
